The Future Home Committee met on July 23, 2016. Kevin from Entheos reported that a traffic survey will be done on Hew Haven Road and Caroline Trace. They will also study the traffic at our present location.
Toby from Entheos presented a new floor plan based on the changes requested at the last meeting. He also showed the exterior design of the church that will be brick and lime stone. The committee requested a few changes.
The church pews and chairs were discussed. Kevin had brochures showing several pew and chair designs. The committee selected three and samples will be sent to the church before a decision is made.
We are requesting another company to give us an estimate on the cost of cleaning and moving the stained glass windows.
The next FHC meeting will be on August 6.
The Future Home Committee met on July 2, 2016 with Entheos Architects and Maxwell Construction. The Master Plan for the new church, offices, school and hall were reviewed by the Archdiocese Planning Committee and they were impressed with the our plans. They suggested a few minor changes to the plan.
Members of the committee plan to talk with the homeowners whose property are adjacent to ours before the meeting with the Planning Commission of Harrison on July 12. Representatives from the committee will be attending the Planning Commission meeting. The presentation will be made Fr Jeff and Kevin from Entheos.
The next FHC meeting will be on July 23.
The Future Home Committee met on June 18, 2016 with Entheos Architects and Maxwell Construction. Dan Losekamp reported that we are on the agenda for the next PUD (Planned Urban Development) meeting for the city of Harrison.
Toby Winiger from Entheos presented the final site information and building information that would be sent to the PUD. The committee reviewed and approved the package.
Jeff Lyness from Maxwell advised that they will begin putting together cost estimates for the construction of the new church.
The next FHC meeting will be on July 2.
The Future Home Committee met on June 4, 2016 with Entheos Architects and Maxwell Construction. Entheos presented the final floor plan for the church that will be presented to the PUD (Planned Urban Development) committee for the city of Harrison. The committee reviewed and made changes to the description report and schematic design documents that will also be presented.
A request will be sent to the Planning Commission to be put on the agenda for the next meeting.
The next FHC meeting will be on June 18.
Future Home Committee met on May 14 with Entheos Architects and Maxwell Construction. Dan Losekamp reported that soil borings have been done on the new sight. The results of the testing will not be received for a couple of weeks.
Kevin and Toby from Entheos presented several designs based upon the committees request at the last meeting. A final design was approved by the Committee.
Members of the committee will meet Kevin and Toby on Friday, May 20, at the new church in Greensburg. Entheos is the architect for this church.

The Future Home Committee met on April 23 with Kevin Stuckwisch and Toby Winiger from Entheos Architects and Jeff Lyness and Ryan Strotman from Maxwell Construction. Dan Losekamp reported that members of the committee, Kevin, Jeff and Ryan, met with the city of Harrison leaders to discuss our plans for the new church and asked what we needed to do to get them approved. We were told that we will have to go before the Planning Commission with our plans; a date for this has not been set.
Kevin and Toby presented several updated building footprint concepts that incorporated input from the discussion at the last meeting. After much discussion and input from Kevin, Toby, Jeff and Ryan, a tentative concept was selected but the committee asked the architects to consider a few additional points before finalizing the plan.
We will meet again on May 14.
The Future Home Committee met on April 9 with Kevin Stuckwisch from Entheos Architects and Jeff Lyness and Ryan Strotman from Maxwell Construction. Kevin presented four different pew layouts for the new church. After much discussion and input from Kevin, Jeff and Ryan the committee picked two of the layouts and asked Kevin to make several changes on both of them to be presented at the next scheduled meeting on April 23.
The Future Home Committee met on March 12 and March 19. At the first meeting Paul Roell reported that our total pledges to date are $6,281,471 and collected was $2,555,847. At this meeting committee members discussed impressions of the five churches they had visited the prior two weeks. Committee members attended mass at two of the churches. The pros and cons of each of the churches were discussed.
On March 19 the committee met with the Entheos Architects and Maxwell Construction. The purpose of the meeting was to begin the schematic design process. This process will take place over four meetings.
We will meet with the Architects again on April 9 for the second schematic design meeting.
The Future Home Committee met on January 9, 2016. Paul Roell reported that total pledges are now over at $6,249,913 that is 81% of our stretch goal of $7.8 million. The total cash received is $2,340.378, this includes interest.
The committee met with representatives from Entheos, our architects and Maxwell Construction, our general contractor. Entheos presented a tentative time schedule for our project.
Members of the committee will be visiting several churches in the next months to look at basic designs.
The Future Home Committee met on August 22, 2015. Paul Roell reported that the campaign to date has raised $6,123,000, from 505 gifts. This is 78% of our stretch goal of $7.8M. A complete financial report on the campaign will be presented to the parish at all masses on September 19 and 20.
Several members of the committee have met with five General Contractors. Each will be asked to complete a General Contractor Selection Survey to be returned by September 15, 2015. The surveys will be reviewed by all the committee members before a General Contractor is selected.
